All Water bores require having a Resource Consent from your Regional council to drill a bore. We take care of the consent. A one off cost for a domestic bore. Time to get the bore consent is within 10 working days.
New Bore sites have to be 50-100m away from your neighbour's bore if possible, or you will require the consent from your neighbour
if not.
Good site access for 2 trucks to drill the bore, flat if possible.
We choose close to power, to keep the cost down for the client if possible. I.e. Side of the drive way, side of the garage, in the driveway with man hole cover. In a garden area. Farm bores are often close to the cow shed.
Please remember to always have access to the bore in the future, for pump servicing. Bores today do not need a shed over them; most have the submersible pumps down within the bore.
